Good for representation, not very entertaining or enjoyable, lacks humor and charisma

Boogie tries to tell it's own coming of age story a little too late. Predictable plot, no grounded structure, and intolerable characters are among many of its flaws. I can see the vision Eddie Huang was going for, and he does succeed at some, but this felt like something I will forget very soon. With a little more time focused on characterization and script, this would have potential for something greater.
