A young Chinese person with the weight of all his ancestors on his back to succeed in life. The story told about the struggles of different ethnic young people. Did the movie show how those struggles are somewhat the same and how to overcome them by a ghetto basketball game? I think the end game working as a team won out at the end but I don't think it was bold enough for the young people watching it to realize.

Show, dont tell would significantly help this film.

For an Asian kid,he was pretty disrespectful to everyone. \r\r\rAs for Focus Features, your watermark is annoying. Get rid of the one on the bottom of the screen for movies with subtitles!!!!!

The storyline was disjointed with some of the characters, like Boogie and his BF.
