Sweet story, some good laughs, good acting.

Florence Foster Jenkins never quite reaches the emotional heights it aims for, and so we are left with a mildly touching yet ultimately forgettable movie.

Not one of Meryl Streep's better movies. Her role is more suited to someone like Melissa McCarthy. That being said, Streep did a remarkable job duplicating the voice of FFJ. It was interesting to learn about this one aspect of FFJ, but I don't believe did enough as I had to research FFJ's life free I got home. I don't believe the movie did the story of her life justice.
