I recommend only to help promote Black-oriented films.\rFor all its good intentions, movie fell flat. I’d like to see more from the male lead, but both leads were so bland! Tessa’s performance was one-note throughout the entire movie. No chemistry between them, either. And Eva Longoria wandered onto the wrong set - she thought she was auditioning for the remake of West Side Story.

The acting was good, costumes were very good, music was very good. Storyline was a bit too formulaic.
