Slow moving and too much speaking in Chinese. Shouldn't have to read most of the movie.

The frequent use of the N-word was a turn-off.

Good story, Poor acting by man characters, couldn't understand/hear some of their conversations. Nice intercultural love story. Nice friendship between Boogie and his classmates, parental conflict well played and acted

It didn't really do much for me. I never really felt much of a connection with the characters, and the acting wasn't all that great. Also it seemed like the movie needed to either commit to the romance or to the basketball, but really only went about halfway with either.\r\ri will say that it was cool to see a sports movie from an Asian-American perspective, and there were definitely unique and interesting elements to the setting, but I wish the story had been executed better.
