While I liked the Asian aspect of the movie, it was really predictable. I think the one thing that really made me not want to recommend it was that the entire movie just felt "flat". There was no emotional impact at all.

I feel that if this is a "coming of age" dynamic for Boogie and Eleanor, that neither are that much changed from the start of the film through the end.
