The moovie was ok until the ending. The ending was weird.

Interesting characters, but the story was lacking. It introduces several conflicts, but fails to resolve most of them satisfactorily.

The script needs a lot of work. I did not buy the character development. It was all over the place and inconsistent. Particularly for the mom and boogie. Boogie as a character is so specific that I dont Asian Americans will relate to him. And the APA stuff is really goofy. The basketball should have been more impressionistic because it was not engaging or believable. Even the sound design could have used work. Like we're hearing only a ball bouncing, but the dribbling is not good. I love a bad movie. But this script was too far off. And from an APA perspective, why was the crew not APA?
