The storyline is cute, and I really wanted to like it, but it felt so cheesy, overacted, cliche. Didn't feel chemistry between the two main characters, either. Felt uncomfortable most of the time.

It's well made, but very thin. The characters are thin and their chemistry wasn't believable. It's a step in the right direction, content-wise; however it's, on its merits a film, definitely a step or two below a movie like "Brooklyn". It was all pretty predictable and cliche, but it was still watchable. I would certainly take it over any Lifetime or Hallmark movie.

As a movie lover, I am not a fan of romance movies, so I didn't like this film very much. It was exactly as described, however. Everything about it was just so-so; except perhaps the set and costuming, that was fabulous.\rThere was very little going on; I do have patience and enjoy a quiet movie with something to say, but this didn't have it. It would be a good Lifetime or Hallmark movie. I don't watch those but I think it's a good guess.
