disturbing and not as deep as I wanted it to be. french new wave shock horror, light on the horror.

A harrowing experience covered in glitter and laser lights.

This was a very thought-provoking film. Made up almost entirely of symbolism, the movie required your complete attention and a very open mind. If you weren't expecting this type of film, however, you might have been disappointed with the results. I gave this film three stars simply because I don't think it was marketed properly for the audience it needs to reach. This film is making a statement. As someone who appreciates a film that makes a statement, I enjoyed this very much. My friends who accompanied me to the screening, however, did not feel the same way at all.

The story could have been told better. Repeated Big laughs coming from the press section during horror scenes did not help, they totally broke up the intended tension. Someone should have told him to contain his mirth.
