I enjoyed the storyline & the actors, but at points in the movies it was difficult to understand what was being said - they were talking fast & with their accents it sounded mumbled.\rI would have like the film to continue a little longer so it would be known if he & his girlfriend went to China or he voided his contract (buy playing in highschool games) & ended up using the college scholarship.

It wasn't an original story, but the Asian perspective was new, enlightening, and enjoyable. The problem was that the main character, Boogie, was not likeable at any point in the movie -- except the one point where he seemed to be opening up in English class -- and his character didn't seem to be redeemed by the end of the movie. On the technical side, I was unable to mirror the movie from the computer to my tv, which tends to be an issue with the movie provider i.e. the signal is not strong enough. So I had to watch it on my computer, which reduces the enjoyability.

I really enjoyed the gritty feel to this movie which made the movie seem very authentic. There were a couple of well conceived "twists" which added to my enjoyment.
