The movie is fun to watch with a brilliant cast of actors. Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant are the glue of the movie. The story line is good but not exciting. The movie drags in places. I would have preferred an hour and half movie rather than close to two hours. It is humorous at places. I would recommend to friend to go out and see the movie.

Florence Foster Jenkins was at first funny but eventually very hard on the ears. Though based on a true story, the story was a bit difficult for a 21st century audience accustomed to instantaneous news and social media to swallow. On the other hand, Hugh Grant played the adoring and utterly charming Englishman as only he can do, and Meryl Streep "squeaked" through with grace.
