Fantastic performance by Kaluuya. The movie was a little too drawn out for my liking, though. Also mirrored the basic plot of many informant movies without adding a whole lot new. Still is a story that deserves to be told.

I don’t think that this film really hit on specific political issues, which I think would have very useful in this current climate. I’m also not personally a fan of dramatized history.

Interesting and important story and well-performed. Hard to hear at times and wished I had subtitles. Points in the story dragged so it was hard to know who was the real protagonist. Definitely felt the love story was tacked on to make sure Black women were represented in the movie.

I loved learning more about this subject matter, and this film definitely had its moments, but I just feel like the finished product is a little too clunky to be wholly effective.
