I thought it told a powerful story with fantastic acting, cinematography, and editing, though I thought the directing was a little bit off. It just underwhelmed my expectation.

Movie wasn't bad.

First there was a noticeable delay in your screening, so the audio was off. While I found the film quite riveting with powerful performances, but more character & story development was needed in the beginning. There were random shoot outs with the police and other scenes that popped with no explanation, making the film feel uneven & messy. I would still recommend it for Kaluuya performance alone!

6/10 - like many of the awards contenders this year, this film settles on being just good instead of taking the next step to be truly great
