The movie kept good pacing throughout and integrated quite a few biblical events seamlessly in the story. Overall i found the movie quite enjoyable and was happy i attended the screening.

Good movie with factual events. Only issue is the movie has arabic people as most of the characters. Even when the bible clearly describes Jesus as having bronze skin, wool hair, and he is never portrayed as a black man. The story line is good and depicts how we as people judge before knowing a person and how they live life.

Impressive visuals and on-location shots (well, at least the shots in Spain and Malta did look a lot like what most might think 33 A.D Israel was like). The lead actor Joseph Fiennes is AWESOME as Clavius, the non-believing Roman soldier set out to prove Jesus' death. Sure, there are some artistic interpretations of the story that might not please Bible purists, and sometimes silly, almost out-of-place humor. However, it's a compelling drama that I believe even non-Christians would enjoy.
