An enjoying coming of age film. It had some flaws with continuity that were jarring, but it could be just noticeable by me due to my studies in film. The acting was decent and believable. I could relate to the main character's awkwardness and the various situations that she experiences. And, the jokes and dialogue had some golden moments. Woody Harrelson is always amazing even if he's not the focus. Hailee brings her character out.I would watch out with giving too much in the trailer, it pretty much told the whole catalyst of the film. So, nothing was new to me besides the father passing. As a result, I alreay knew the whole movie once it started. Overall, I enjoyed it though.

I think the scene where she is using the bathroom is really not necessary, many people were talking about how "awkward" that was. Also, a majority of the movie was spent by her being depressed and the last few minutes of the movie is where she is finally "happy".
