Thought the acting, mostly Gaga, was average, and the dialogue below average. Had potential, but missed the boat.

It was a little longer than it needed to be. Great performances though. I feel like it could have used more comedy before the tragic ending.

I thought Lady Gaga was magnificent. She commanded the screen in every scene, and Cooper was incredibly convincing and compelling in his portrayal of addiction as well. I did feel that it was a bit cliche and cheesy, and the pacing slowed significantly in the second half.

Great singing, a little long.
