I have mixed feelings about this show.1. The music was fantastic2. Gaga's acting was fantastic3. I liked the beginning premise of the moviebut...1. It was too long and slow at times2. Watching Cooper as being incoherently falling down drunk for 90% of the movie was painful and not in a good way3. This movie would've been better as a PG-13 to appeal to young Gaga fans and too many F-words

This remake of the movie is better than the original. I loved it.

I would recommend this film to my friends who love good music, but I would caution them that the film was quite long and was rather slow in places. I thought B Cooper did a good job of portraying an aging "rocker" and I thought Gaga was awesome! As a novice actor she was very real and sympathetic. She portrayed a character that I would like to meet and share a drink with her.
