The movie was fair, seemed to drag. Lady Gaga was good.

So-so

I'm partial to the 2nd remake starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristopherson , but if you're a Lady Gaga fan, this film's for you! Bradley Cooper's debut direction was a good effort highlighting the star while updating this 3rd remake of one star ascending while the seasoned performer's is descending.

A remake for the modern age. The acting and singing is exceptional, but the language is harsh. F-words are used liberally throughout. There are thousands of adjectives, so I'm not sure why the writers default to the f-word, but this is a trend in modern film; where it used to be relegated to war and violent action movies, now you get to hear it regardless of the genre.
