This gripping tale set in an alternate version of earth after war in the 60s runs the gamut of emotional provocation for a psychological thriller. The slow burn of this movie is well paced, literally having you walk in their shoes. As each individual character has their own developmental arcs, the interactions and bonds formed during the walk truly give the movie grit. The horror of the unknown looms even the movie has comedic moments that offset the gory realities and psychological twists. I’d definitely say run not walk to to see the Long Walk as soon as possible

“I really liked The Long Walk. It captured raw truth and showed humanity, compassion, and brotherhood in the face of adversity. The story reflected sacrifice and the importance of holding on to the core of who we are, no matter the circumstances. I appreciated how it revealed the way systems can mask themselves—how what looks like choice is often not truly a choice at all, as we are conditioned to accept and endure things we’d rather not. It also showed how our emotions, especially compassion, can take over and lead us to make difficult or less desirable decisions.”
