I secretly read this book in one sitting on a slow day at work 7 years ago and it has been one of my favorite Stephen King books since. After high hopes and knowing I’d be in good hands with Francis Lawrence, I’m very excited to confirm that it’s one of my favorite Stephen King movies now too. Cooper Hoffman and David Jonsson truly did such a great job in their roles.

It was heart-pounding and the main characters had a heartfelt connection. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!

Intense and good. Wow Stephen king!

My only knowledge of the film was that a group of people walked to see who would be the last standing. What I experienced was a beautiful (though harrowing) tale of desperation, vengeance, & friendship. It might very well be the best SK work I've ever seen.
