It’s a far departure from the original film, a little too whimsical for my liking in a DCU movie but I can appreciate the fact that not everyone wants dark movies all the time. And while I don’t see this as an equivalent or better movie than what James Gunn did with GotG, it was often unpredictable in the way the story was going to go and that is always a good thing. It is a fun watch overall.
