I thought the movie contained a lot of action, but was lacking in plot.

A fun ride through and through. However many story details and time for character development are drowned out by the gore. Although fun and shocking at first, the gore factor soon became repetitive and unnecessary. James Gunn put so much emphasis on the different ways he could kill someone, he forgot to stop and give more thought to creating a convincing story.

1st Suicide Squad was better.

I liked the first one better
