Very entertaining and funny. 4/5 stars

Spielberg has made one of his best movies here. It doesn't necessarily follow the book, but it's still a great movie with awesome reference, great characters, and fantastic action sequences and visual effects. One of Spielberg's best movies.

It is very fun and the graphics are spectacular! Interesting story

I thought as a stand-alone film, it was fantastic. The second act seemed a bit slow but that may have been just because I preferred the OASIS scenes to their real life counterparts (Ironic given the moral of the tale)My only qualms being how far it strayed from the novel. The changes definitely will help in drawing a larger audience, but it hurt my little nerd heart to not see some DND action.
