It was very entertaining as a whole. As a fan of the book, it seemed to fall short of the story and what I took away from the reading experience. It traded some items I felt were crucial to the character development and the reveals later in the book.The theme was still there, but the soul of the book seemed to be left out.

It was amazing to see the nostalgic 80's and all the game/cartoon references scattered throughout the movie.

Great visual effects! Some of the story seemed to reference the book which I haven't read but now want to! A great movie and experience!
