It was well shot, well acted and had beautiful scenery. I thought it was an interesting and understated story of grief and starting over.

The acting is great, but the story is problematic. The setup is nothing new, though usually with male protagonists. And isn't Miguel the male version of Manic Pixie Dream Girl? He exists to help our heroine through her grief and then dies to take him off the canvas.

I enjoyed the style of the movie and the pacing. In streaming, the resolution wasn’t good enough to appreciate the cinematography, but I’d like to see it again in 4K. \r\rThe depth of the movie increased considerably with the introduction of additional characters and their own stories, but I appreciate the focus on the main character. \r\rOverall, a strong showing for a director’s debut. I look forward to more.
