Very real. Comedy was good. Especially the one liners. However, the ending was odd.

An enthralling, depraved sliver of modern Americana filtered through the mind of one of our preeminent screenwriters, Anomalisa goes to emotional places few films feel comfortable going, and it does so with amazing technical virtuouso. Every frame is beautiful. Every gesture expertly captured (which makes sense as it took one week to stop motion animate each minute of the movie). Exceptional.

Anomalisa was an interesting movie. I was expecting an animated film about life as I read in the reviews. I was surprised to find out this movie was about the psychotic nature of one man and his observance of everyone sounding and acting the same. Anomalisa was very funny at times and very awkward at times.

I enjoyed this movie a lot very different form of film making however it was impressive. I do have one comment not understanding why most of the characters sounded like males and there was just one female character that actually had a female voice . However I do believe that is part of what the movie was trying to make I did enjoy it very much very
