An absolutely hilarious ride that also hits all the emotional notes of anyone who ever went through high school scared and confused by the people who just seemed to get how to be cool. And anyone who's had a best friend they spent every day with.

It was amazing to see strong female leads depict women exactly as they are; smart, funny, strong, etc. The movie didn't attempt to make offensive caricatures out of any of the characters, and took a plot line that has been done before in different ways and made it its own. The writing was great, and the cinematography of specific scenes was beautiful. I honestly loved every minute of this movie.

Really enjoyable, great humor, an intellectual and witty coming-of-age movie. Awesome job for Olivia's directorial debut! Only feedback is that animated scene was quite confusing within the jist of the movie - would have executed it differently or made the scene much shorter. Also.. the long, uncut scene with the girls fighting at the party was amazing!
