Paid fan service to those nostalgic of the Pokémon universe and those actively involved in the games. Met people in my age bracket (30s) who were also there for the Pokémon experience. The film had its moments, both heartfelt and comedic, but the plot was formulaic and predictable. Nonetheless, recommended it to other friends who grew up with the show and games. Thanks!

I enjoyed it. It was funny because of Pikachu. If you a pokemon fan you will like it and the kids too :)

Very cute but predictable.

If you have a kid that loves Pokemon I think that your children will be thoroughly entertained. Also hearing Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Pikachu honestly all I kept thinking about, was that it was Deadpool talking.
