All the funny scenes were in the trailer did not enjoy film

While it relies heavily on racial humor usually at the expense of white people in the beginning it does evolve into a heartfelt friendship tale. Awkafina sadly would have been great as the under achieving friend the cast did feel awkward at times. It had a couple of chuckles in it but the humor took back seat to the main storyline. Probably worth a free rental but not a trip to the movies.

It's a realistic view of lives of Asian children adopted and raised in the US where they feel and question their place in society. I liked the basics of the storyline but didn't think all the thrash talk was necessary.

It’s a little foul for me. Although I did find myself laughing. Glad I didn’t bring my 12 year old granddaughters. I loved the ending though
