Good movie about how sometimes even if we don't like change, there is ways to adjust to it. There is always people around us that will help us move on.

Moving story that gives audiences what it's like to lose your hearing. And, empathy for those who are deaf. It's a sense many take for granted.

They deserve an Oscar nomination for sound design.

Ahmed's performance is the reason to see this film, and I appreciated that the story didn't devolve into a story of "miracles," "heroic overcoming," a deaf person who is to be pitied or fixed, or the kind people who "save" him. It's unusual for a film about a deaf person to be so raw, straightforward, and provide a more realistic picture of Deaf culture, the limitations of "fixes" such as cochlear implants.
