Gripping, intense story with great acting especially by Tahar Rahim as the Mauritanian. We seldom hear stories directly from the Guantanamo "detainees" and it is important that we do. I hope that many will see this film.

Great film based on a true story. I cried for this man. Nobody deserves to be treated that way. How could the Obama administration done this.

Convincingly acted. Distressingly convincing. A reminder that the US Government has often strayed from the ideals of its founding documents. My wife and I were glad to see that the film was made in Africa.
