Liked how Risen told a different side of the story and should be of interest to those of faith and for those who are not. I will strongly recommend this movie to my church going friends and to those who are not. The movie doesn't preach, just tells a story. I left this evening knowing that the audience really enjoyed the movie. Thank you.

IS WAS VERY GOOD STORY.BUT THIS STORY DIFF. WHAT OTHER LIFE THRUTH STORY. I GIVE B-.

Risen was better than I thought it would be. I liked the close point of view of Fiennes's character. I liked the look and tone of the film and the depiction of the era. Only two minor problems. The first was the special effect of "Yeshua's" final disappearance when there was nothing at the earlier one. The other was the appearance of Cliff Curtis after I had just watched him in "Fear the Walking Dead." He is a great actor who was good here and fit the role and ethnicity. Just bad timing.

The movie is very true to the bible. Very touching.
