The acting was fantastic! The movie was a little long and heavy handed and probably could have ended earlier of their child be flashbacks to her life.

Meryl Streep was perfect for her role as Florence - she was fabulous! The singing was very, very bad but very hilarious to listen to. Loved the story line, very interesting story behind her.

Great performances by all...Music is as much a character as the human characters.
