It was an excellent film simply for the way the sound design placed the viewer directly into the haunting experience of Ruben’s hearing loss. Riz Ahmed was a powerhouse in the role of Ruben and captured the harrowing journey perfectly. He was not distinguishable as an actor to the point of Daniel Day Lewis level acting. The idea of Ruben making choices for love was well executed due in most part to both actors making emotionally powerful performances. Overall a painful, but realistic journey and well executed by all involved. Also, I will personally be taking better care of my ears. Thank you.

Good story of life’s struggles. Nice sound simulations of deafness. Finished like a classic French film.

Solid performances by all involved. Story leaves a lot to be desired in the last section; as setup wasn't solid; but comes around at the end.

Well done and respectful. Very interesting way and relatable way to help audience experience and understand what it's like for people with no hearing or hearing lose.
