\rThe writing, the directing, the performances... even all of the musical selections used to score the film were great. It's painful to watch and yet it's just heightened enough to give the viewer an enjoyable experience. The ending is tragic and yet perfect. I found it very satisfying.

Genius! Best movie of the year and one of the best films in a decade. Brilliant writing with unexpected turns. Casting, especially Carey Mulligan, was incredible! Thank you for making this film. It really generates complex conversations and gives proper spotlight on under discussed topics. I'm so excited about the film and the most talented writer/director Emerald Fennell. \r\rI hope it's required viewing in all college campuses.

So incredibly well done. Such great performances all-round. And obviously Carey Mulligan's performance at the heart of it just grounds the whole film.\r\rThe visual style of the whole film, the "perfect" musical choices used through out and the stellar casting in each and every role elevated this great script and story to make it one of the best films I've seen in ages. Having seen the trailer I had high expectations- and this delivered, hands down. Not an easy watch, but definitely not to be missed.

Great way to prompt conversation about a hard topic. I loved Carey's performance, the wardrobe, the set design, and the music. I did not see the twists at the end coming at all, and I was shocked and sad, but it definitely made the film more powerful. I also appreciate that we didn't spend a lot of time focusing on the victim's story but focused only on the aftermath, which I haven't seen done before in a film like this. 5 stars! I will be watching it again for sure.
