When I see that a film is 'based on a true story', I begin to think, 'what liberties did they take with the actual story'. I often learn afterwards, they stretched the story and added a lot of drama for drama's sake. That aside, I enjoyed the cultural issues, but I think the film, East is East did a much better job at that. I highly recommend the soundtrack.

Some moments were great and inspiring, but for the most part it was too cheesy.

There were a few funny moments and an interesting idea, but seemed very long and cliche. Not a terrible movie, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Although the idea and story of this film is inspiring, the actual story telling was boring and prolonged. The great cinematography did not make up for the lack of development in the plot and characters.
