It was a good love story. Good costume design. Very believable for the time period.

Such a sweet love story with an amazing performance by Tessa Thompson.

I liked it a lot. I chatted with my parents after on it. I hoped she could stay in her town for the job and not just follow the man. My dad reminded us that's how it was back then. My mom agreed woman were expected to sacrifice for their families. I felt insulted that she had to give up her great job because he wouldn't be able to find work and wouldn't feel like a man. Cause the movie had that background social movement cause of the times also with her friend moving to get the vote out and being involved in politics. so its like she is doing something for the movement to work there.
