Visually, it's fantastic but the second end twist seemed a little lazy - an easy choice to make as opposed to the clever choice.

If you like the world of Harry Potter then you will find something to enjoy. I think all around the actors did a good job and inserted comedy in the right spots. The biggest nitpick is that there was too many subplots going on and it was hard to keep up at times.

It was more setup for subsequent films rather than a complete storyline, so it felt slightly messy with too many unclear plotlines and underused characters. Enjoyable moments, and Jude Law is great as young Albus Dumbledore.

The film's tone is quite a bit darker than the first, which was a little jarring at the beginning. However the storytelling and acting was excellent. My favourite only real complaint was that some of the action scenes were not lit very well and that made it difficult to see what was actually happening.
