High-end actors with a mediocre plot and dialogue. I never read the books so I'm unfamiliar with the characters history. The movie didn't dive deep into the relationship of the protagonist/antagonist so many times throughout the movie I was confused. It felt rushed during several moments. If you didn't read the books you wouldn't understand many scenes in the film. It wasn't until I went home after seeing the move and reading the synopsis of each book did I fully understand the film.

Decent movie, but I expected more of an action pace and gunplay. The ending was waaaay to simple to defeat the bad guy. Other than that the story was good.

I thought it was a fun film with a unique story. I found the worlds created by the film interesting. I felt like it was a bit too predictable, but still fun to watch. The action was great, some of the dialogue was silly, mostly from the man in Black. I really enjoyed watching Idris Elba.

It was entertaining, but not great.
