Good movie about the meat industry and how they treat animals. Meant to turn at your heart strings and make you care about animals. Presented in a way that seems unrealistic and jokey but hits everything right on the head. Mija may get her pig and saves one more but millions of others don't share that fate. I almost considered not eating meat so I think it got the job done.

Fun, dark, slightly uneven plot but enjoyable.

I like independent movies, so I liked this. I had no clue ahead of time what this was about. At first, I thought it was a movie kids might like until they started with the F words and then all the cruelty inflicted on the pigs. It was a cross between trying to be funny with a few characters and showing the love the girl had with Okja. With a few changes, this could be made into a PG13 movie.
