Acting was superb. Gary Oldman became Churchill. The set and scenery details were impeccable.

Best film I have seen in a very long time!

What a beautifully made film---the direction and acting were superb. I was actually in tears at one point. It's a great companion piece to Dunkirk---I'd say that if you saw Dunkirk you gotta see Darkest Hour now. Gary Oldman is bound to get the Academy Awrd.
