Not one of the best

Interesting take on the world of modeling and canabalism. Cool performances the four main actresses and a solid story. The ending was definitely the cherry on this hard-serve ice cream film.

I loved the style, the visuals, 80s synth pop soundtrack. I think it was lacking in a coherent story and really dragged on in the second half.

Director Refn has fashioned a Kubrickian display of the dysfunctional and predatory fashion industry. Luminous Elle Fanning is confident in her beauty but inexperienced in this particular business. Ethereal soundtrack and psychedelic visuals highlight the production, especially a segment at a fashion show involving...NEON, of course. Ultimately disturbing must-see cinema.
