This movie should've stayed as a HBO Max exclusive. I do agree this movie was better than the "Flash". This was a hit or miss and it hit on comedy and CGI. It missed on the writing and the acting. The movie felt really forced on over acting. It really draw me out of the movie a bit because it felt like soap opera acting. I enjoyed the Jamie Reyes storyline though and I can't wait for the sequel.

George L and Susan S saved this movie. Main character was subpar.

It was enjoyable, and while I liked the story, I wasn't too crazy with the dialogue. It didn't feel natural. The colors where beautiful and I liked the VFX, but it didn't feel like a movie of this time. Perhaps early 90s. I would enjoy watching this with my siblings. Nephews and nieces not so much. Probably fine with first generation Mexican Americans, but certain mexican shows seem dated.

It was strong family story w/ authentic Latino representation. I also thought the action was pretty decent. The villains were underdeveloped, as with many comics movies.
