Not funny, nothing learned, Bad movie. One of the worst I've seen in years!!

This film was not funny. It made light on sexual abuse by a person of influence. The pastor and first lady got mad at the film crew for following them around, when they were the ones who hired them. The movie ended with a cliff hanger and didn't show if any other parishioners showed up for service. On the good side, the pastor's and first lady's wardrobes were fabulous. Looking at Sterling K. Brown's fabulous abdominal muscles was eye candy.

While there were some funny moments, there were many cringe-inducing elements (storyline of sexual assault on young black men by pastor, white face wife is forced to wear). Inconsistencies re: what is documentary film footage & what is not. \r

Their script started out comically ... but sitting through the whole film was a real bore fest! Two fantastic actors and even they couldn't make this film work. I can't believe they released this film I was embarrassed for them! Worst film I've seen in forever!
