boring

The cinematography was great, but with the dialogue in old English with a Scottish accent, I could not understand what was being said for most of the movie. I could get the gist of it from the scene bing played, but subtitles would have dramatically imoproved my enjoyment. Watching and trying to understand seemed like hard work. Several people got up and left saying they couldnt understand what was being said.

While beautifully filmed and the performances were great, it was slow moving and easy to lose track of the plot. I'm familiar with the stage play and I really had no clue what was going on during this adaption. I feel it favored style over substance. About 8 people walked out halfway through and honestly I wish I had joined them.

I didn't quite like the ending and it was difficult to understand most of the characters' accent.
