This is an amazing story! From beginning to end, I was riveted and felt a range of emotions: happiness, anger, frustration, sadness and fear. Tahar Rahim drew me in for the journey of a life interrupted, and I sat on the edge of my seat for the entire ride! He is wondrous in his portrayal of Mohamedou Slahi. Shine up the Oscar for this man NOW!

Very well done. Jodie Foster still has her acting chops. This reminds me of when I watch movies showing how the British treated their Indian subjects during their Empire period. Unfortunately, it also shows that the CIA, DOD, and some in the military are no different than all those foreign powers that we so loudly condemn....sad. Excellent movie.

It seemed well written. The dates helped, to follow the story. I think it's helpful to get the story out, of what he went through. I remember hearing news reports of the Guantanamo Bay prisoner abuse but wow! Poor guy! Hopefully this'll help get the word out about his family, so they can be together again soon too.

It was a gut wrenching, yet beautiful film. It once again turned a mirror on America forcing it to see how truly ugly this country is. The cinematography was beautiful beginning to end, the use of flashbacks aided the story without losing ones place in time, this was also aided by the use of differing aspect ratios to jump back and forward. This story was told tastefully, but also didn't hold back with graphics we needed to see. This movie is coming out at a time that people need to see it, it will be accepted and praise for how the story is told!
