Really stunning, effective performances and filmmaking. I loved how the perspective shifted between characters, especially to portray Deborah Johnson's experience and that of other women central to the Black Panther Party movement, and Daniel Kaluuya blew me away. I never felt like my hand was being held, but rather that I was given a clear-eyed depiction that consistently chose to be true/brave.

Enjoyed the films focus on historical figures from this era of Black Panther history. Very well done and would encourage people who are unfamiliar with this period to read more before and after the film. Great job!

Reinforcing the fact there is a Judas in every bunch. The movie was very close to eyewitness accounts of what happened. It was a learning experience for the entire family..

As someone who's studied and written about Fred Hampton and the BPP, I was impressed by the accuracy of certain details. Even though I knew what was coming, I couldn't look away due to the brilliant performances by the cast, and the compelling direction by Shaka King. I highly recommend.
