Entertaining with great music and how music intertwines with life.

Even though the ending was predictable, the film was sweet and satisfying. Good acting all around and lots of plot details that gave a clear picture of what it was like for Pakistanis in England in the late 1980's. I'm going to recommend it to everyone.

Loved Blinded by the Light. The lead actor, Viveik Kaira’s portrayal as Javed was moving and captivating. His coming of age story inspired by Bruce Springsteen’s music was original and I’m not a Springsteen fan. This film also depicts the ugliness of hate and the power of love and though it is set in 1987, it is very relevant today. A must see movie.

The movie was an excellent coming of age story that cuts across cultural barriers and unites us with the fundamental values of hard work, perseverance, love, family and belief in one's self against the odds. I thoroughly enjoyed, found it sentimental and full of genuine emotion. I highly recommend this film.
