Great modern horror

Good movie

The only reason why I don't watch scary movies is because they bore me. Half of them are too predictable or just and up startling me. I've watched the original movies,(part I & part II)and I knew what to expect. What I did not expect was how much darker this movies was going to be, and how funny it was. Yes. Hilarious! Would recommend this movie to both fans of the original movies and horror fans!

This movie has no right to be as good as it is. It really, truly surprised me. Bill Skarsgard is excellent and most of the child actors perform quite well. From start to finish I was entranced by the balense of whimsy and reality, humor and horror, fear and hope. I cannot wait for a Chapter 2.
