Overall, it was ok and entertaining. Some of the jokes and themes it explored were funny and insightful, but the other jokes made the characters a bit too outrageous to be believable.

I think the part of Beijing should show more about it like, Great Wall, Advanced subway stations, high-speed trains. The part selling drugs should happen in the Bar not on the train, in China when people get on the train each entrance has security checks, how can she get all those drugs on train? the ending is when they become friends again at that moment they decide to comeback, NOT Paris.

Joy Ride was okay. Not really a new concept and predictable at times but I did like the twist. It's a typical friends trip movie. Not the funniest, some jokes fell short but there were a few scenes that was funny. Overall, as far as recommending Joy Ride, it would depend on who I am recommending it to.

It was very funny. Not for kids to see. Great to see Asian actors performing like everyone else in the movies
